I had a friend growing up whose dad was pretty financially savvy. One afternoon, I saw an envelope from an investment company on their kitchen table, and I asked questions. A few months later, with my mom as the beneficiary, I opened an account & threw every dollar I could in there. (I was probably about 12 years old.)

Around that same time, certain I’d grow up to be a veterinarian or zoologist, I decided to fill my grandma’s basement (I lived with her) with every pet you could imagine. Cockatiels, lovebirds, rabbits, bearded dragons, corn snakes, leopard geckos, hamsters, you name it and two mice. (Stick with me here... this is where it gets interesting!) 

I walked into the basement one Saturday morning to clean all the tanks and cages, and to my surprise, inside the cage with the two mice was a pile of eyeless, earless, hairless baby mice… almost 20 of them!

I took out a book from the library (so old school), to learn more about how to care for them and about a month later, I had 18 mice that needed a home… quick! So, I went to the local pet shop, and I asked if they would buy them from me. “I’ll give you 55 cents a piece”, he said. I took the money he gave me and instead of keeping it, I bought another cage! 

That day, the “entrepreneurial bone in my body” was formed.

I put the mice back together, and over the next year or two, I sold hundreds of mice every month to that pet shop. I took all the money and invested it in that account I had opened with the investment company, and over the next few years, I laid the financial foundation for my future.

You might wonder what all that has to do with you… It has everything to do with you because it’s how I got to where I am today.

After high school, I became an elementary and middle school music teacher, but quickly found myself overworked & underpaid. In 2013, I was introduced to a company that helped people save money and make money on essential services, and that entrepreneurial bone that I found as a kid started to itch. I had found a way that I could scratch that itch, create my own success and earn whatever I felt like I was worth, and I was ALL IN.

All those years of learning and growing, saving and investing, of budgeting and planning finally paid off. I took all the money I earned over the next decade and made smart decisions to create not only financial stability, but financial abundance and freedom. And now, I want to share all of that experience with YOU.
